ABOUT

In this fest, there’s no prompting — each round (a mixtape!) a theme is polled for, and you can write whatever comes to mind, of your own accord. If you can only write 500 words, perfectly fine! Think you can tackle a 15k fic within the writing period? Go for it! No issues if you decide to pull out of the fest, just let us know! If you finish your fic after the round is over, we’ll still RT it!This fest was inspired by A Little Wonder, which was an NCT fic fest.

— What is this?
This is a fanwork fest for the kpop group Stray Kids! During the fest's rounds, authors will create fanworks based on the theme.— When is this?
Our seventh round will begin May 12th and run until July 4th.— Can I participate as a minor?
Yes! But, you will be asked to disclose this information, as writing NSFW content as a minor is prohibited in this fest.— What time zone is this fest using?
We will be using U.S. Eastern Time.— What's the required word count?
In the interest of the fest being low-pressure and laid-back, we're only asking for 500 words!— Can I write NSFW or Dead Dove content?
Yes! But it is entirely your responsibility to tag your fic appropriately. Failure to do so will result in a warning, and repeated failures to do so will result in a ban for future rounds.— Can I write multiple fics for the same round?
Yes! We only ask that you submit one piece, but you're welcome to submit as many as you'd like.— Can I write a chaptered fic?
Yes! Just finish and submit chapter one, with a minimum of 500 words, as your round submission, and then you can finish the rest whenever you'd like!— How flexible is the theme?
Our round themes are intended to be a core concept of your submission, but you can blend it with any genre, trope, AU, etc that you wish! For instance, if the theme is "supernatural beings" and you want to throw in a college AU, go for it!— When do I start writing?
As soon as you receive your confirmation email from us, you can begin your fic!— Can I create something that isn't a traditional/digital artwork or fic?
You sure can! This includes things like podfic and socmed aus.— Can I use my Mixtape fic to cross off bingo squares/fill a fest prompt?
As long as the other fest/bingo allows it, absolutely!All other questions can be directed to our Neospring, which is linked on the Home screen of this Carrd!

RULES

Since we want this fest to be low-pressure and creatively free, there are not many rules, but the rules we do have, we ask that you respect.— We will be allowing NSFW content, including "dead dove" content. it is the responsibility of our authors to tag their fics appropriately, and the responsibility of our readers to heed those tags.— Failure of an author to tag sensitive content correctly will result in the fic being removed from the collection until tagging is fixed; repeated offenses will result in a ban.— Likewise, any readers that ignore tags or purposefully read content they dislike, and then report or harass authors because of it, will be blocked.— Our only content limitations are bestiality, pedophilia/underage content, and any content promoting hate speech.Otherwise, there are really no other rules, besides being kind to everyone participating, whether they are an author or a reader, and having open communication with us!As this fest is new, rules are subject to change as we learn and grow!
